Children’s Ministries

Due to our current safety precautions there will be no nursery care or childrens classes on Sunday mornings. Church activity notebooks are provided for children during the service.

Mission and Vision

We exist to equip children to learn about God, grow in their faith, and serve in the church and community as we support parents and caregivers in the discipleship of their children. Our desire is that every child would have a personal relationship with Christ and seek to live a life that is honoring to Him.

Sunday Mornings

Sunday School is a special time to help your children know God, learn from His Word, and understand His plan for their lives. Our team of qualified, caring teachers love Jesus and love to share His Word with our students each week.

9:00 a.m. – Age-based Sunday School classes meet from 9:00 – 10:10 am in our secure Children’s Ministry wing, located on the lower level of the building.

Classes are grouped as follows:

  • Nursery care (birth through age 2)
  • Pre-school to Kindergarten (Children must be 3 years old by September 1)
  • 1st to 3rd grades
  • 4th to 6th grades

10:30 a.m. – Children in first through fourth grade enjoy the first half of the service with their parents. They are dismissed before the sermon for Kids Worship, where they have an opportunity to worship God together through Bible lessons, crafts, and games.

Nursery and Preschool Classes are grouped as follows:

  • Nursery care (birth through age 1)
  • Toddler (Children must be 2 years old by September 1)
  • Pre-school to Kindergarten (Children must be 4 years old by September 1)

Wednesday Nights (from September – May)

AWANA at 6:30 p.m. – Wednesday nights are an exciting time at Grace Church, with programs for children of all ages. Boys and girls from preschool through sixth grade can be a part of AWANA, a Bible club program featuring games, a Bible lesson, and a special focus on memorizing Scripture.

Boys Brigade at 6:30 p.m. – Boys in third through sixth grades can be a part of the Boys Brigade (also called Christian Service Brigade), a Christian “scouting” program where boys grow in Christ through a comprehensive process of life skills, physical and mental activities, fun, service, achievement, Bible memory, and stories.

Safety and Security

To assure the safety and security of your children, we have instituted the use of Elexio Check-In. This is a check-in and child information program that is used nationwide by churches, schools, and daycare providers.

Elexio Check-In ensures that only the people you designate can pick up your child from the church.
