In Psalm 67 we read the words, Let the nations be glad and sing for joy (verse 4). Fast forward to the last book of the Bible and there the Apostle John paints for us a stunning portrait showing the literal fulfillment of these words from Psalm 67:
After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”11 And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen”
(Revelation 7:9-12).
Beginning on Sunday morning, February 5th and running through Sunday, March 5th, we will be focusing on what God is doing on planet earth! And that is … calling out a people for Himself from among the peoples of the world! Here at Grace we are committed to the Great Commission that Jesus left for us, His Church, to do … making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). What a great joy to partner with God as he completes his purposes for humanity!
I invite you to join us at either 9:00 or 10:30 on Sunday mornings. Both services will be held in our Family Life Center due to the renovations of our sanctuary (which we hope will be complete by the end of March).
