Student Ministries

Due to our current safety precautions there will be no Youth Group on Sunday mornings.

The most important part of the Christian life is knowing God. We get to know God better when we study and meditate on the truth that is given to us by God in the Bible. In the Student Ministry, we spend a lot of time learning from the Word of God through preaching and teaching, because we believe God speaks to us, gives us understanding, and strengthens our faith through the Bible.

Sunday Mornings

Youth Group at 9:00 a.m. – On Sunday mornings we are studying a series called “Your Word is Truth.” This material answers the questions, “What is truth?” “Is the Bible True?” How can we walk in the truth?” It deals with other religions, ethics, marriage, work, etc, and how to view these things through the lens of God’s authoritative Word.

Teachers: Jeff Heiney, Lary Engle, Chris Leaman, Frank and Kelly Carr, Jonathan Reese

Wednesday Evenings

Youth Group at 6:30 p.m. – On Wednesday evenings our students come together to hear teaching from Scripture and then break into small discussion groups. We usually include games and finish the evening with dodgeball or volleyball. Once a month, we serve in Lancaster City or among our church body and host an open discussion Coffee House.

The Importance of Parents

Another important part of Student Ministries at Grace is a focus on helping parents disciple their children effectively. God willing, the teaching we provide on Sundays and Wednesday nights will provide a foundation for parent-teen discussions about real life issues that extend beyond youth group. After every meeting, you and your teens will have the opportunity to discuss together what they learned and how it impacts their lives at school, at home, on their sports team, and with friends.
