Student Ministries

Grace Student Ministry Exists to Inspire and Equip Parents and Teens to Know, Grow, and Make.

We desire that parents would be EQUIPPED to disciple their teens to make disciples.

We desire that teens would come to KNOW Jesus and have a relationship with him (Justification).

We desire that teens would GROW in their relationship with Christ and the family of God (Sanctification).

We desire that teens would be equipped to then go and MAKE disciples of their neighbors proclaiming the good news of Christ in word and deed.

In the Student Ministry (6th-12th grade), we spend a lot of time learning from the Word of God through preaching and teaching, because we believe God speaks to us, gives us understanding, and strengthens our faith through the Bible.

Each year we have a theme that guides what we learn together. Our theme for the 2024-25 school year is “Identity: When We Know Who God Is, We Know Who We Are.” Our theme verse is Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”

Sunday Mornings

9:45 a.m.

Sunday School (6th-12th grade) – This school year we will be following our theme of Identity in three studies:

The Overcomers: A Right Now Media video series that walks teens through the book of Revelation, considering their identity as overcomers and how they can walk in the victory Jesus gives.

321: This video series will take teens through the basics of the faith and equip them with tools to share their faith with others.

– Ask Me Anything: Teens will have the chance to ask their questions about faith and discuss them with one another.

Wednesday Evenings

6:30 p.m.

Youth Group (6th-12th grade) – On Wednesday nights we gather to study God’s Word, pray, sing, and build relationships. We will be looking at what it means to be human, to be in Christ, to be a member of Christ’s family, and how to live out our identity in the world.

The Importance of Parents

Another important part of Student Ministries at Grace is a focus on helping parents disciple their children effectively. God willing, the teaching we provide on Sundays and Wednesday nights will provide a foundation for parent-teen discussions about real-life issues that extend beyond youth group. After every meeting, you and your teens will have the opportunity to discuss together what they learned and how it impacts their lives at school, at home, on their sports team, and with friends.
