Candy DonationsWe’re going to need a lot of candy for the little disciples, super heroes and princesses. Please help us by dropping off bags of wrapped candy, gifts or trinkets, etc., in the designated bins at the hospitality centers. Monetary donations may be designated for Grace Church at Willow Valley and marked for Trunk- or-Treat. Volunteers wanting to decorate a trunk (or table) or volunteer at the event? Let us know by registering below TODAY!!
Trunk DecoratingWe need families to decorate trunks! The more trunks the more fun! You can pick a Bible story or verse, storybook theme, non-violent video game, career theme, holiday, season....the ideas are endless! If you search the internet for Trunk Or Treat ideas you will find numerous ideas. Please refrain from scary, gory or evil ideas.
Trunk Arrival TimePlease arrive in the upper level parking lot allowing enough time to have your trunk open and ready no later than 6:00 pm. Remember to turn your car's interior lights off! It would be helpful to bring a battery operated light or lantern to brighten your trunk. We would like to park cars in the upper section, leaving a space between each car. Please also bring enough candy to treat 300 children. Feel free to dress to match your trunk's theme!
Costumes ~ up to age 12
Babies to age 12 children are encouraged to wear costumes! However, please do not wear scary masks or gory costumes. Also, we prefer costumes that do not represent witches, goblins or ghosts.
This night DOES count as an AWANA club night! Mrs. Dawn Heffley will have an AWANA table to mark off your attendance, Bible and listen to your verse.
